Update on Romans Bible Study...
We are changing the meeting time to Wednesday Evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. We will be going through the book of Romans with the study guide: "Roman House Churches for Today: A Practical Guide for Small Groups" by Reta Halteman Finger. A dessert/snack will also be served.

Hello, I'm wondering how the course went? I'm interested in running it over here in Perth, Australia. It seems from reading the book it will require a lot of commitment from the participants. Did your participants manage to keep up? And did they go okay with those opening chapters of background?

Thanks for finding us! No, we were unable to complete the study. We had some members who were challenged when it came to role playing, so we had to do more discussion on the different groups and less role playing. I think this study is excellent for showing how there has always been differing opinions on theology in the church. I would be interested to see how your study goes. Let me know!

Thanks Lisa. Still trying to work out if it's feasible. I think if it could be made to work, it could be a tranforming experience for many people.
